Division Champions, as well as High Point Junior and High Point Senior for the 2008 season
will be calculated as follows:
1. Eligible riders must be members of Horse Trials PEI.
2. Points will be awarded to horse/rider combinations.
3. The horse/rider combination must compete in at least one Horse Trial at Strathgartney in the
division for which the award is being calculated.
4. Division awards will be calculated for each horse/rider combination based upon placings in
the division(s) which the combination enters at the Strathgartney Horse Trials.
5. Riders who compete in Horse Trials in another province will receive one point for each Horse
Trial they attend, providing it is in the same division (or higher) for which the year end award is
being calculated. Riders are responsible for sending details of off Island competitions to
spangler@upei.ca.
Points obtained in Strathgartney Horse Trials will be calculated as follows:
2 to 10 entries: 1st 6 pts, 2nd 4 pts, 3rd 3 pts, 4th 2 pts, 5th 1 pt
11 to 15 entries: 1st 8 pts, 2nd 6 pts, 3rd 5pts, 4th 4pts, 5th 3 pts, 6th 2 pts, 7th 1 pt
over 15 entries: 1st 10 pts, 2nd 8 pts, 3rd 7 pts, 4th 6 pts, 5th 5 pts, 6th 4 pts, 7th 3 pts, 8th 2 pts, 9th 1 pt
