Spring Training Camp with Ruth Allum
Ruth Allum is the head coach and trainer at Oakhurst Farm, and if you’re looking to level up your riding, she’s the kind of coach you want in your corner. With decades of experience as both a competitive eventer and an Equestrian Canada–certified High Performance Eventing Coach, Ruth focuses on the whole picture: confident riders, fit horses, and strong partnerships that last.
Ruth has coached riders at every stage — from those just getting started to athletes competing at high levels of international eventing. Her clinics are known for their supportive, down-to-earth atmosphere, where riders feel challenged but never overwhelmed. She has a sharp eye for detail and a talent for explaining things in a way that actually makes sense, whether you’re working on basics or fine-tuning performance skills.
What really sets Ruth apart is her emphasis on thoughtful training, smart conditioning, and the mental side of riding. Riders leave her clinics feeling more confident, more connected to their horses, and with practical tools they can take home and use right away.
Whether you’re aiming to compete, build confidence, or simply become a better partner to your horse, a clinic with Ruth Allum is a chance to learn from one of Canada’s most respected eventing coaches — and have a great time doing it.
