Horse Trials PEI is very excited to have Ruth Allum returning again in 2018 to coach riders in another great clinic. Ruth is the head coach and trainer at Oakhurst Farm and is an Equestrian Canada Competition Coach Specialist for Eventing. As a coach, Ruth’s commitment is to the total physical and mental preparation of both the rider and the horse in the sport of Eventing.
Having competed herself at the Preliminary level, Ruth combines her real life experiences as an Eventer with formal training as an Equine Canada certified coach, and High Performance Coach. During her more than 20 years as a coach, Ruth has taken students from beginner levels to high levels of international competition including Provincial Championships, the North American Young Rider Championships, the Canadian Eventing National Talent Squad and the Canadian Eventing Team Long List.
