HTPEI Athlete Development Camp

This day camp will be taught by Dawn Helm of Up West Equestrian Center, O’Leary, PEI. Dawn is a Certified NCCP and Licensed EC Competition Coach Specialist in Dressage and in training to become an EC Certified Dressage Judge.
The camp will begin with a classroom session where you will learn what the dressage judge is really looking for when you ride your test. Learn how to be more accurate and, hopefully, get better scores.
After the classroom session, participants will then watch demo riders ride various dressage tests and the participants will judge the tests based on what they learned in the classroom session.
Test scores will be reviewed and discussed after the rides.
Time & Location
This session will begin at 1pm on Sunday, April 11th and should finish around 3pm. It will take place at 15 MacLeod Rd, Hunter River. (Off Hopedale Road not Route 2, if your GPS takes you there.)
Please bring a chair with you and your favourite writing implement (pen or pencil).
The session will take place indoors but it will not be heated, so please be sure to dress appropriately and bring a Covid mask.
